Ultimate Mermaid Swimming Destinations

The Ocean covers more than 70% of the surface of our planet but we still have a lot to learn about this incredible ecosystem.

The largest ocean is the Pacific; it spreads nearly half way around the world from Asia to the Americas and from Antarctica North almost to the Artic.  It is also known to be the deepest ocean recorded, a whopping 32,995 feet deep at the Pacific’s Philippine Trench.

For those of you obsessed with all things mermaid and swimming just like Ariel did in “The Little Mermaid” then what could be more exciting than mermaiding amongst our incredible ocean in the most amazing places our world has to offer.  Just think of all that exploring you could do to find inner goddess.

If you are looking for somewhere exotic and tranquil then why not try the Philippines, in particular Linapacan Island, situated just off the coast of Palawan boasting complete R&R and exceptional for snorkelling.

The Maldives is another fantastic choice famous for crystal clear waters and white Sandy beaches.

Phi Phi Island in Thailand should certainly be on anyone’s bucket list, the laid back atmosphere and gorgeous beaches make it a must on anyone’s list!

Crater Lake in Oregon is created from an ancient volcano and is perfect for swimming due to the colour of the deep blue lake.

Coming closer to home Macarella Beach in Menorca Spain is an idyllic cove making it perfect for that tranquil swim in turquoise waters.

The above all sound and look amazing but if your budget cannot stretch that far then why not try somewhere closer to home, Bamburgh in Northumberland boasts sweeping seascapes and brooding landscapes making it the perfect beach experience.
